Dr. Seleshi Yalew is an water resources management expert who went his native Ethiopia to investigate invasive water weeds at Lake Tana in Ethiopia and provide trainings at the Bahirdar Institute of Technology.
Samuel Yenesew is a native Ethiopian who wanted to contribute to the capacity-building in his home country. With the help of CD4D, he was assigned to the Ministry of Agriculture and Natural Resources (MoANR).
At the world-leading academic institution for Agriculture and Forestry, six Ethiopian agronomy experts joined a 2-week training program to learn more theoretical and practical knowledge in regards to soil management at Wageningen University.
It’s Mr. Mirkhel’s final week in the Netherlands before he returns to his home country. His supervisor Dr. Haidari, an Afghan diaspora expert who took part in the CD4D project, organized a workshop on June 6th 2018 at TU Delft in cooperation with IOM.
In 2015, Mr. Mirkhel, a water management expert working at the Ministry of Rural Rehabilitation and Development (MRRD)of Afghanistan did a study visit to TU Delft under the supervision of Dr. Haidari – a Afghan diaspora expert that took part in the CD4D project.
