Putting the Diaspora in the Spotlight

You are here: Home / News / Putting the Diaspora in the Spotlight

26 November, 2020

By appointing ten ‘Ambassadors’ we aim to put the spotlight on the valuable contributions diaspora make to their countries of origin. A lot of great diaspora initiatives go unnoticed and we would like to highlight the diaspora’s good work through a media campaign. These stories will show that migration can have very positive contributions to society. We strongly believe in the potential of diaspora and have been involving them as active partners in numerous of our programmes.

The ten participants of our CD4D projects were chosen for their dedication, professionalism and charisma. They were appointed in a special Kick-Off meeting and will be coached by Georgina Kwakye on how to bring their story to the general public. The first stories will appear in 2021. Stay tuned.
